My name is Emily and I am a 22 year old photographer from Rhode Island. I love this state for so many reasons- the 4 seasons, the culture, the arts, the city, and the beaches. There is so much here that there is never a reason to put your camera down.


I have been shooting for about 5 years. I am mostly self-taught, but have taken a few college courses along the way that have only helped me to grow. I am currently finishing my AFA in Studio Art at the Community College of Rhode Island, while also working on my Professional Photography Certificate from the NY Institute of Photography.

My goal is to travel to every state in the country in my lifetime and photograph the beautiful things that each has to offer. I am looking to pursue promotional photography dealing with bands & musicians, companies, products, etc. I respect the art of wedding and portrait photography, and will do it for friends and family, but it is not currently something I am looking to pursue as a full-time career in the future.

I also hope to one day open my own bar & gallery. I want it to be a place where all different kinds of artists and musicians can gather to share, show, and sell their work. Its tough establishing yourself, but I would like to be a stepping stone in that "journey".

I made this online portfolio to share my work to date. I am still growing and learning everyday, so any feedback and constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.
